Day 01
Start from Chennai to Colombu and travel to
Muneeshwaram Temple-It is believed that Muneeshwaram predates the Ramayana and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the Pancha Ishwarams temples in Srilanka. A Shiva Lingam was already here when Lord Rama visited this place. When the Vimana was passing over Muneeshwaram, he felt the Vimana vibrating, and realized the Brahmaasti Dosham was not following him at this particular point. He stopped the Vimana at this juncture and asked god Lord Shiva for advice. Lord Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised installing and praying at four lingams located at Manavari.
Manavari Temple- is the first lingam installed and prayed by Rama is called as Ramalinga. And three others are Thiru Koneshwaram, Thiru Ketheshwaram and Rameshwaram. |

Day 02
ThiruKedarsvaram(Padal pettra stalam) is one of the Pancha Ishwarams. Its famous tank, the Palavi tank, is of ancient antiquity and was restored from the ruins. ThiruKedarsvaram is one of the Paadal Petra Sthalams of Shiva glorified in the poems of the Tevaram.
Nallur Kandaswamy Temple Nallur, in Jaffna, rises the majestic Hindu temple for Skanda/ Murugan – the god of love, war and beauty. This temple may be said to be the most popular place of worship in the whole of Jaffna peninsula, with peak level of up to one million devotees at festival time. |

Day 03
Nainativu Nagapoosani Amman Temple is an ancient and historic Hindu temple, dedicated to Parvati who is known as Nagapooshani or Bhuvaneswari. It is believed to be the place where the silambu (anklets) of Gauri had fallen. Anklets have been given immense importance in the worship of Shakti since time and memorial. This ornament is also referred to in the famous Tamil epic Silapathikaram – where the story begins and ends with an anklet.
Naguleswaram temple is a very ancient temple believed to be one of the Pancha Iswarams (divine residences) of Shaivism. The temple is situated adjacent to the mineral water springs and Selva Sannidhi Murugan Temple at Thondaimanaru. |

Day 04
Thirukoneswaram Temple(Paadal Petra Sthalam) is one of the Pancha Ishwarams located in Thirukonamalai (Trincomalee). The temple lies on a high rocky promontory surrounded on three sides by the sea. It bears a history of over three millennia with its records indicating its roots in 1580 BC. Aadi Shankaracharya’s Stotram starts with Shankari Devi- Shakthi Peetham Sati Devi is worshipped as Shankari Devi and Lord Shiva as Trikoneshwara.

Day 05
Nuwara Eliya- Ashoka Vanam
Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple Temple is located in the hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sita.
Ramboda Falls-Ramboda Falls is 109 m (358 ft) high, It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level. Nuwara Eliya Stay.
Gayathri Pedam:- It is believed to be the place from where King Ravana's son Meghanath propitiated Lord Shiva with penance and poojas and in turn was granted super natural powers by lord Shiva. |

Day 06
Seetha Amman kovil-Its in the place in Ashoka Vanam(Vatika) where Seeta was kept captive. The temple is decorated with sculptures; all depicting the tale of Rama and Sita.
Divurumpola-The place where Seetha Devi took her oath to undergo “Agni Pariksha”. It is a popular place of worship among locals in this area. Divurumpola means place of oath in Sinhala.
Kathirgama-Katirkamama Temple -visit the famous Kataragama temple dedicated to Lord Karthikeya Subramaniam sometime referred as Aaram padai vedu for Lord Muruga. |

Day 07
Ussangoda -Ussangoda plateau was used as an airport by King Ravana for his ‘Dandumonara’ peacock chariot. According to Ramayana, after meeting Seetha Devi Lord Hanuman decided to test the strength of the mighty King Ravana and his army of Rakshasas. In the event that unfolded Lord Hanuman’s tail was set on fire by the Rakshasas, who in turn went on to torch some parts of King Ravana’s empire. Ussangoda is one of the torched areas.
Rumassala the Sanjeevini mountain fragment slipped and broke into five pieces of which one fell to Rumassala. |

Day 08
Colombo:
Kelaniya Vibeeshana Temple: It is dedicated to Lord Vibhishana who was the younger brother of Ravana. After Ravana's death Rama appointed Vibhishana as the new King of Lanka. Vibhishana is venerated by Sinhalese Buddhists as a God.
Panchamuga AnjaneyarTemple:- A temple dedicated to Anjaneyar in Sri Lanka. This is the only temple in the world to have a chariot for Anjaneyar and Manikka Vinayagar Temple.
